Financial Manager (French speaking)

A new open cast copper/cobalt mine in Lubumbashi, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has a contract residential Senior Management vacancy with extensive experience. The salary will be competitive with a person of the right level of experience and competence, fully taxable with the potential to earn the same again in terms of a bonus.

This position have the potential to grow into operating 3 - 4 new start up mines over the next 5 years, we are looking for people who are prepared to give us a similar commitment.

Requirements:
· Must be able to speak French.
· Must possess a CA qualification - essential
· Minimum of 10 – 15 years experience
· Must have experience in start-up operations essential
· Experience in a mining environment will be an advantage
· Computer literacy and strong financial accounting skills
· A strong business acumen
· Excellent report writing skills
· Leadership skills, with the ability to form part of a strong team
· Must be hands on and be able to start the Financial Management Department from scratch
